Traffic disruptions in the Gothenburg area 15-17 November
In connection with the EU summit on 17 November, heavy traffic disruptions are expected during certain times of day 15-17 November. However, activities at the University of Borås are expected to continue as usual.
The public is urged to follow the police’s recommendations to avoid the most critical commuting times.
Students and employees commuting between Gothenburg and Borås are urged to plan their trips and allow for extra time, and are advised to take the train or own car instead of bus 100.
Traffic will be temporarily cut off when the police escort the EU delegation from Landvetter airport to and from their accommodation in central Gothenburg and meetings in Eriksberg. Due to safety reasons, the exact times and routes will not be announced in advance. However, this means that two areas around Gothia Towers and Eriksberg will be cut off as of morning 15 November.
